After buying hosting and domain name, you may go ahead to change nameserver.
Step-by-Step Guide on Changing NameServer In Namecheap
Step1: Log-in into Namecheap account by clicking on “Login” in navigation menu as shown below:
Step2: As soon as you click on “Login” button (in step1), you will see a window (shown below) which will let you know about your account on Namecheap and click on “View” to view the domain name.
Step3: When you click on “View” (in step3), it open a new window (shown below). Now, check out the box and click on “Edit Selected” to edit the nameservers.
Step4: When you click on “Edit Selected” (step3), it open a new window (shown below). Now select “Domain Name Server Setup” and click on it.
Step5: When you click on “Domain Name Server Setup”, it open a new window (shown below). Check out the box, “Specify Custom DNS Servers (Your won DNS servers)”, fill-up required fields and click on “Save Changes” button.
Step6: As soon as you click on “Save Changes” button (in step5), nameservers change but it will take up to 72 hours to propagate.
