Already in earlier article I had provided you a step-by-step guide on installing MySQL Offline on your PC. Now in this article I guide on configuring MySQL on your PC because without configuring it you can’t use it on your PC.

Follow the step-by-step guide to configure MySQL on PC.

Step1: Click on “Next” button to get started.

Step2: After clicking on “Next” button, you’ve to select “Detailed configuration” and click on “Next” button.

Step3: Now select “Developer Machine” and click on “Next” button

Step4: After clicking on “Next” button you’ve to choose Database, select “Multifunctional Database” as u don’t know what you’re doing and click on “Next” button.

Step5: Now don’t mess up the things and simply click on “Next” Button

Step6: Now select “Decision Support” and click on “Next” Button

Step7: Now select “Enable Strict Mode” for networking options and click on “Next” button.

Step8: Click on “Include Bin Directory In Windows Path” option and “Next” button to go ahead.

Step9: Now set the “Password” and click on “Next” button.

Step10: Now click on “Execute” button to execute the things.

Step11: Hit down the “Finish” button. Congratulations, you have successfully configured MySQL Offline on your PC.

[How-To Guide] Install MySQL Offline On Your PC

MySQL, no doubt one of the most popular and widely used database/server which integrated with PHP scripts. MySQL is simple to use, which allows you to create and test web application without affecting the data on your live websites. This article guides on installing MySQL locally on your PC.

Follow the step-by-step guide and you will be able to install MySQL locally on your PC in few minutes.

Step1: Download MySQL installer from here

Step2: After Downloading the installer click on to start the set-up process as shown below:

Step3: After clicking on the next button, you will be ask to select the “Type of Set-up”. You have to choose only one out of three options available (I have chosen Typical Option).

Step4: Now simply click on “Install” button and this will install the “MySQL” on your PC.

Step5: After clicking on “Install” button, it will start installing it on your PC and take some time, (as shown below).

Step6: As soon as the installation process finishes,you will see a screen (as shown below). Now click on “Next” button to go ahead.

Step7: After clicking on “Next” button and it takes you next screen where you have to click on “Next”button again, as shown below:

Step8: After clicking on “Next” button, you’ll see the last screen which shows “Wizard Completed”. Congratulations – MySQL installed on your computer.

WordPress 3.0.1 will address 50+ different bugs, including a privacy issue with trashed posts and Capital P dangit bug (automatically changes small “p” into capital “P” ) which results in lots of broken images.

After a long wait finally WordPress team released an updated version of WordPress 3.0 to fix almost 50+ bugs (as shown in the screenshot).
