Step1: Log-in into wp-admin panel, go to “Catalyst” tab and click on “Core Options” as shown below:

Step2: When you click on “Core Options”, it open a new window (as shown below) and in navigation menu click on “Scripts”.

Step3: Now simply copy Infolinks Ad Code and paste it in “Footer Scripts” and click on “Save Changes” button.

Step4: Congratulations, you have successfully added Google Analytics tracking code in Catalyst WordPress Theme.

Already, I have shared how to install WordPress and now in this post I’m sharing how to install BuddyPress.

For those who do not know, BuddyPress is a social networking CMS which bring people together. Some of the uses of BuddyPress are:

A campus wide social network for a university, school or college

A niche social network for your interest topic

A focused social network for your new product.

I will come up more articles on BuddyPress which will help you to get started by building your own social networking site. In this post, I will cover only installation part.

Step1: Log-in into wp-admin panel, go to “Plugins” tab and click on “Add New” (as shown below):

Step2: When you click on “Add New”, it open a new window (as shown below)m now search for the plugin “BuddyPress”.

Step3: Now install “BuddyPress” (as shown below).

Step4: After installing BuddyPress Plugin, you will need to activate this plugin and this will install “BuddyPress” on your WordPress installation.

Already, I have shared how to install WordPress theme from WordPress dashboard and now I’m sharing how to install Catalyst WordPress theme from WordPress dashboard.

For those who do not know, Catalyst WordPress Theme takes WordPress to a whole new level. Catalyst WordPress theme offer lot of options and allow you to cut down lot of WordPress plugins. In this post I’m sharing how to install Catalyst WordPress Theme from WordPress dashboard and in coming post I will let you know how to customize Catalyst WordPress Theme.

Step1: First go to Catalyst Theme Store and Download your copy of Catalyst WordPress Theme. After downloading Catalyst WordPress Theme, unzip this theme ad you will see three folders in it.

Step2: Log-in into wp-admin panel, go to “Appearance” tab and click on “Themes” as shown below:

Step3: When you click on “Themes”, it open a new window (as shown below) and click on “Install Themes”.

Step4: After clicking on “Install Themes”, it open a new window (as shown below) and click on “Upload” option in navigation menu.

Step5: When you click on “Upload” button, it open a new window (as shown below), click on “Browse” button (which will find theme locally on your PC).

Step6: Select only zipped folder of Catalyst WordPress Theme, i.e.,“catalyst” as shown below:

Step7: After selecting “Catalyst” click on “Install Now” button as shown below:

Step8: After clicking on “Install Now” button, you see a new window (as shown below) and after it click on “activate”

Step9: Congratulations, you have successfully install Catalyst WordPress Theme from WordPress Dashboard
