Some users are not too good while editing WordPress theme and in this post I’m sharing Genesis Simple Edit WordPress plugin which offer you to modify three commonly areas easily without any knowledge of PHP. This plugin create new Genesis settings page which allows you to easily modify the post-info (i.e. byline info), post-meta and footer area in Genesis WordPress Theme.

Download the plugin from WordPress Gallery and install it, already I have shared how to install WordPress plugin from WordPress Dashboard. After installing plugin and activating plugin follow step-by-step guide to edit most commonly used areas in Genesis WordPress Theme

Step1: In wp-admin panel go to “Genesis” tab and click on “Simple Edits” as shown below:

Step2: When you click on “Simple Edits” (in step1), it open a new window (shown below). Now simply edit anything without messing any core files from Genesis WordPress Theme and after making changes click on “Save Settings” button.

Congratulations, you have successfully edited most commonly used areas in Genesis WordPress Theme. Isn’t easy!!

Many readers do not like to see this post but some of them having problem with their WordPress Installation. This post helps you to delete existing WordPress Installation from your hosting server.

Step1: Log-in into cpanel and go to “Fantastico De Luxe” as shown below:

Step2: When you click on “Fantastico De Luxe” (in step1), a new window open (shown below) and click on “WordPress”.

Step3: As soon as you click on “WordPress” (in step2), a new window open (shown below) and click on “Remove”.

Step4: When you click on “Remove” (in step3), it show a warning message (shown below).

Step5: As soon as you hit “Remove WordPress” (in step4), you see a new window (shown below) stating that “The installation in the root directory of infoedutech.com was removed”.

Step6: Simply click on “Back to WordPress overview” button and you see that, there is no WordPress installed on this domain.

The best part of Genesis WordPress Theme is that, it comes with child themes and they offer you to customize it easily. Already I have shared how to install Genesis WordPress Theme and how to install Dynamik Child Theme and now in this post I’m sharing how to install Genesis Child Theme from WordPress Dashboard.

Step1: Log-in into wp-admin panel, go to “Appearance” Tab and click on “Themes” as shown below:

Step2: When you click on “Themes” (step1), it open a new window (shown below), now simply click on “Install Themes”.

Step3: As soon as you click on “Install Themes” (step2), a new window open (shown below) and click on “Upload”.

Step4: When you click on “Upload” (in step3), a new window open (shown below). Now you have to install Genesis Theme by clicking on “Browse” button. I have already downloaded my copy of Genesis Child Theme, if you did not get your copy of Genesis WordPress Theme, get it now:

Step5: Now browse the place where you have downloaded your copy of Genesis Child Theme and after it select any Child Theme and click on “Install Now” button as shown below (I have already select the Church child theme and now I have to hit only “Install Now” button).

Step6: As soon as you click on “Install Now” button (in step5), it open a new window (shown below). Click on “Activate” to activate Genesis WordPress Theme.
