Step1: When you log-in wp-admin you will see a message appearing (shown below), click on “Update Now”.

Step2: When you click on “Update Now”, it display a message (shown below) and click on “OK”.

Step3: As soon as you click on “OK’ (in step2), you see a new screen (shown below). Now click on “Click here to complete your Catalyst Update”.

Step4: When you click on “Click here to complete your Catalyst Update” (in step3), you see a confirmation as shown below:

This post focus on adding BuySellAd code in Headway WordPress.

Step1: Log-in into your BuySellAd Network publisher account and when you are in publisher dashboard, simply click on “Add Zone” as shown below:

Step2: As soon as you click on “Add Zone” (in step1), a new window open (shown below). Now simply fill-up all the details and click on “Next” button.

Step3: When you click on “Next” (in step2), a new window open (shown below) which show a message

“You have successfully added this zone. All you have to do now is follow these instructions to install the ad code”

To display ad on your site you have to install the ad code but before adding ad code, you have to add main snippet before body tag as shown below:

Step4: To add this main snippet, log-in into wp-admin and go to “Headway 2.0.8” tab and click on “Easy Hooks” as shown below:

Step5: Now you have to select right hook to add this main snippet in Headway WordPress Theme. Select hook “Before Everything”, copy main snippet code and paste this code in space provided. After pasting the required code click on “Save Changes” button as shown below:

Step6: After adding main snippet in Headway WordPress Theme, you have to add ad code. You are free to add this ad code anywhere in your WordPress theme (where you want to display ad on your site).

Step7: After pasting ad code anywhere on your WordPress Theme, click on “Save” button as shown below:

Congratulations, you have successfully added BuySell Ad Code in Headway WordPress Theme.

[How-To Guide] Transfer SEO Settings From Thesis WordPress Theme To Headway WordPress Theme

Thesis – most popular Premium WordPress theme and many bloggers and webmasters using it. On one of my blog I’m using Thesis WordPress Theme and planning to migrate from Thesis to Headway WordPress Theme. But did not find the right way to back-up all SEO setting because if I migrate all my hard-work will be lost. Recently come across this awesome plugin which help me to migrate all my SEO data without affecting anything.

This plugin made by StudioPress and it offer you to transfer your SEO data from one theme/plugin to another. Oops, I have not mention the name of plugin, well its name is “SEO Data Transporter” (download link available after end of post). This plugin made life easy for WordPress users who fear to migrate from one theme to other theme.

How to Use this Plugin

Step1: Download the plugin and install it. Use this post to install plugin.

Step2: After activating plugin go to “Tools” tab and click on “SEO Data Transport” as shown below:

Step3: As soon as you click on “SEO Data Transport”, it open a new window as shown below.

Step4: Now you have to simply choose required platform (for me its Thesis to Headway). After choosing platform click on “Analyze”

Step5: As soon as you click on “Analyze” see analysis results and after it click on “Convert” button to convert all SEO values from Thesis to Headway WordPress Theme.

Congratulations, you have successfully transferred all your SEO values from Thesis WordPress Theme to Headway WordPress Theme.

Step3: Now click on “Coupon Code” tab, a drop down menu open (shown below) showing options of this plugin.

How to Create Coupon(s) Using Coupon Code

If you look at [Image3], you see that already various fields created for you and you have to fill-up all the required fields. Follow the step-by-step guide to create coupon using this plugin:

Step1: In “Name” [Image3], simply fill out the name of affiliate program you are using (for me its CouponCode)

Step2: In “Coupon” [Image3], fill out the coupon code that you want to share with your readers. (for me it is WEBGUIDE4U)

Step3: In “URL” [Image3], insert your affiliate link (as shown below):

Step4: In “ShortCode” [Image3], type the name (i.e., shorcode of this plugint – I’m using CouponCode)

Step5: After completing all the steps as guided above, click on “Add Coupon” and a new coupon added and this coupon (i.e., coupon created above) hide your affiliate link while adding on any post. Similarly, by following above guide, you can create unlimited number of coupon(s).

How to Use Coupon Code WordPress plugin (i.e., how this plugin works)

Step1: Write a new post (or use existing post). Select required keyword (that you want to link) and click on “Insert Coupon” as shown below:

Step2: As soon as you click on “Insert Coupon” (step1), you see that coupon code inserted in that keyword (keyword that you select in step1).

Step3: Now click on “Preview” button on right hand side and see this plugin in action.

Step4: When you click on “Preview” button (in step3), it open a new window and you see CouponCode WordPress Plugin in action, which only show the coupon code (i.e., WEBGUIDE4U).

Step5: Now no one can steal your affiliate commission, create as much coupon as you like and generate unlimited amount of money by sharing coupon codes.

[How-To Guide] Add Images In WordPress From WordPress Dashboard

WordPress – most widely used blogging platform and at WebGuide4U I’m trying my level best to make WordPress as much easy as I can. Already I have shared lost of tutorials from Installation to advanced level and still a lot have to come on WordPress. Images play an important part in any post and in this post I’m sharing how to add images in WordPress in simple easy to follow guide.

Step1: Log-in into wp-admin panel, go to “Media” and click on “Add New” as shown below:

Step2: When you click on “Add New” (step1), it open a new window (shown below). Now you can use any way to upload images on your blog, either “Flash Uploader” or “Browser UPloader”.

Step3: After selecting media uploader (i.e., image uploader) (I’m using “Browser Uploader”), you see a window (shown below). Now, click on “Browse” button to browse images locally stored in your PC.

Step4: When you click on “Browse” button, it open a pop-up screen (shown below – image1), where you have to select the images stored in your PC. Select required image and click on it.

Step5: After selecting an image, you will see something like this (shown below) and now click on “Upload” button to upload the image.

Step6: When you click on “Upload” button (step5), a new window open (shown below), which show that selected image has been successfully uploaded on WordPress blog.
